ABOUT SHANNON
Shannon is a nationally recognized award-winning photographer based in Colorado Springs. She is a two-time Professional Photographers of America 1st Place recipient of the Grand Imaging Award in Children Portraits. In 2021, in addition to her 1st Place in Children’s Portraits, she also won the prestigious over all 1st Place trophy among over 5000 images entered. In 2022, two of her images were featured as part of Team USA in the World Photographic Cup.
Shannon has been featured on the cover Professional Photographer magazine on multiple occasions. She holds a Master Photographer degree and is a Certified Professional Photographer through the Professional Photographers of America. In addition, she has an Associates in Applied Arts Degree for Commercial Photography form the Art Institute of Seattle.
When she is not creating art for her clients, she invests in the photography community by teaching in Colorado, across the U.S.A., and abroad. She also enjoys volunteering and participating in charity work.
In addition, Shannon is a wife, and mother to three beautiful children, who enjoys spending her free time indulging in their own precious family time.

Jeff Jackson - Director of Education, Assoc. Photographer
Jeff is a Certified Professional Photographer in the Professional Photographers of America and Associate Photographer for Shannon Squires Photography. His photographic interests include fine art adventure portraits, high school seniors, and legacy portraits. He also creates fine art wildlife photography under his brand Untamed Aperture.
Jeff is the Director of Education for Shannon Squires Creative Academy (SSCA), leveraging his decade of university-level teaching experience to structure the Academy’s curriculum and improve lesson delivery so clients get the most out of their investment into SSCA’s courses.
Passionate about community service, Jeff is the staff photographer for the non-profit Wounded Healers Project, and he is a chainsaw instructor for Team Rubicon, performing wildfire mitigation services for western mountain communities and deploying to disaster-stricken areas to aid in recovery operations.
